FinSage is a personal finance app built to help you track spending, manage budgets, review subscriptions, and understand your financial activity. This Privacy Policy explains how FinSage handles information when you use the app and this website.

FinSage is designed around local-first storage. Your financial records are stored on your device by default unless you choose to export, share, back up, or restore them.

Information Collection and Use

FinSage may handle information you add or generate in the app, including expenses, budgets, subscriptions, categories, currency preferences, tracking history, reminder settings, and related app preferences.

If you enable SMS tracking, FinSage may read eligible SMS messages on your device to detect transaction details and help create expense records. SMS access is optional and can be disabled through Android system settings.

Permissions

FinSage may request optional permissions to support specific features. Notification permission is used for reminders and app alerts. SMS permissions are used for automated transaction detection. Overlay permission may be used to show quick-review transaction prompts when you enable that feature.

Local Storage, Imports, and Exports

Financial records are stored locally on your device by default. Exported JSON, CSV, or PDF files may contain financial records and remain wherever you save, share, or back them up until you delete those copies.

Your device operating system or backup settings may create device backups depending on your configuration.

Payments

FinSage may offer a one-time Pro purchase. Purchases are processed through Google Play Billing. Google handles payment information according to Google Play policies, and FinSage does not process your card details directly.

FinSage may check purchase status to unlock or restore Pro features.

Sharing and Third Parties

FinSage does not sell your personal financial records. Data may be shared only when you choose to export, share, or back up files, when required by law, or when platform services such as Google Play Billing are needed to complete or restore a purchase.

Security

FinSage uses local device storage and platform features to provide the service. No method of electronic storage is perfectly secure, so you should protect your device, backups, and exported files.

Your Choices

You can disable optional permissions such as SMS, notifications, and overlay access from Android system settings. You can also delete app data, clear records, remove exported files, or uninstall FinSage from your device.

Children's Privacy

FinSage is not intended for children under 13. FinSage does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
